Starting THIS TUESDAY, October 5th, the Davis Master Chorale rehearsals will be moving to a new location! They will be held in the stake center located at 2680 E Cherry Ln, Layton. Due to the freeway construction, Cherry Ln is closed at Hwy 89. Google maps is struggling with the changes in topography, so I’ve included driving directions from any part of the county.

From either northbound or southbound Hwy 89, take the new Gordon Ave exit and go West. Take the 2nd right onto 2575 E, go to the end, and turn right on Cherry Ln.

From southbound I-15, go East on Antelope Dr. Turn right on Fairfield Rd, then left on Cherry Ln (2nd traffic light).

From northbound I-15, take the Hill Field Rd exit and go right. Take the first right onto Gordon Ave. Turn left on Fairfield Rd and right on Cherry Ln.

If you’re coming from the Kaysville area, just go North on Fairfield Rd and turn right on Cherry Ln.

Now that everyone is on Cherry Ln, keep going East until you see a ROAD CLOSED TO THRU TRAFFIC sign. Keep going past the sign and you’ll see the building on your right. Turn in the 2nd driveway. The doors facing East will be unlocked.

The Davis Master Chorale will be starting rehearsals for their Winter Season on Tuesday, Sep 14 at 7:30pm. You love singing Christmas music? Come join our group! No audition necessary. Choir dues will remain at the low cost of $20 per person or $35 per couple.

COVID INFORMATION: Riverton Music of Clearfield [MAP] has welcomed us back to their rehearsal room for this season. They require singers who attend our rehearsals to wear masks until further notice. Considering the age of most of our regular participants and the present danger of the Delta variant, we HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you get vaccinated, including a booster shot if recommended by your doctor.

Before we sing, let’s party! The annual potluck social will be Tuesday, Sep 7 at 6:30pm at the Evergreen Bowery [MAP]. Bring your favorite dish, spouse, family, and a hearty appetite! The dishes are always amazing!

One word of caution if you’re headed for the potluck using either north or south Hwy 89. Cherry Ln is blocked off from Hwy 89 access, per the new freeway construction plan. Instead, go west on the new Gordan Av exit. Take the 2nd right onto 2575 E. At the end, go left on Cherry Ln, then right on Evergreen Ln, and go straight into the parking lot.
