The Davis Master Chorale is pleased to announce their 2018 Christmas Concert: Sing a Song of Bethlehem.
The performance will be held on December 7th, at 7:00 pm, in the Layton High School auditorium. The musical selections will include works from Dan Forrest, Mack Wilberg, Sally DeFord and many others. This will be a great opportunity for your family to usher in the Christmas Season.
After nice break for Summer, the Davis Mater Chorale will begin rehearsals for the Winter/Christmas Season on September 11 at 7:30pm. The first week of rehearsals will NOT be at Davis High School, but all the remaining rehearsals will be. The location for September 11 will be posted here and on our Facebook page when it’s known. The cost for the season is $20 per person, or $35 for a couple. Newcomers are always welcome! There are no auditions necessary and you’re welcome to sit in on a rehearsal or two before committing to join.
Except for the first week, all rehearsals will be held in the Davis High School choral room, which is located near the north end of the campus.
UPDATE: The first rehearsal ONLY (Tuesday 9/11) will be held at the LDS building at 555 Fairfield Rd in Kaysville [MAP]. It’s approx 1 mile north of Davis HS. All remaining rehearsals will be back at Davis High School. Rehearsals begin at 7:30pm and last no longer than 2 hours with a break midway. If you know of someone that likes to sing, by all means bring them to a rehearsal and let them see how much the group enjoys singing serious and not-so-serious Christmas and other seasonal songs under Jim’s direction.
