Seeking Applicants for Davis Master Chorale $1000 Scholarship

The Davis Master Chorale is one of the oldest community choral organizations in Utah, comprised of musicians from Davis and other counties. One of our main purposes is to promote the arts in our area, and to that end, a scholarship program was started several years ago awarding $1,000 to a high school senior with exceptional musical talent and plans to pursue a college degree in music.

Qualifications for applicant:

  • High school senior or equivalent in Davis County, Utah
  • Active participant in a music organization and/or active private student of music
  • Plans for enrollment in post-secondary music program following graduation from high school
  • While consideration is given to relatives and friends of the Davis Master Chorale, applicants need no association to win the scholarship
  • Must be present to receive award at the Davis Master Chorale spring concert on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at 7:00 pm at the Farmington High School auditorium

To apply, please complete an application form and attach a current resume or bio. Completed forms can be given to chorale members for delivery to the choir board for consideration, or can be mailed to Davis Master Chorale, P.O. Box 1088, Farmington, UT 84025. Applications must be received by April 1, 2019.

Christmas Concert!

The Davis Master Chorale is pleased to announce their 2018 Christmas Concert: Sing a Song of Bethlehem.

The performance will be held on December 7th, at 7:00 pm, in the Layton High School auditorium. The musical selections will include works from Dan Forrest, Mack Wilberg, Sally DeFord and many others. This will be a great opportunity for your family to usher in the Christmas Season.
